Madness Photography started as an official, serious company in 1998.
But the history of Madness Photography started long before. Onno “Berserk” Wieringa, founder and owner of Madness Photography, has been a self-taught photographer since he was a little kid and started to take pictures of something he loved since the day he was born: motorcycles!

His motorcycles
After he finished high school, he started working for various Harley-Davidson shops, where he learned to work on bikes. At the age of 17, he already owned two Triumph’s and when he was eighteen he had four Triumphs and a Suzuki GT 750. After getting his drivers license, when he was eighteen, the Triumphs all had to go and were replaced by a bike that he had wanted since the day he was born; a Harley-Davidson. This bike is still in his life; it’s an FXE-F 1200 Super Glide Fat Bob, which has been rebuild and modified endlessly and ridden for many miles. Going everywhere on the bike, there was one thing he always had in his pocket; his camera!
At the age of 23 he started drag racing, and he and his team named “Midnight Madness”, raced the bike on all the major races and drag strips all over Europe. He has competed in many classes; starting with the Street bikes, than Ultimate Street Bike, Super Stock, Pro-Stock, and then finally in the fastest gas burning class; Top Gas! Also again taking thousands of photo’s of everything interesting, at every racetrack! Being a racer for more than 18 years gave him insight in the world of fast bikes, and he’s still involved in the world of drag racing as a helper/mechanic and of course photographer / reporter.

Retrofit Kit Program for All Big Dog Owners by Wire Plus

Wire Plus Develops a Retrofit Kit Program
for All Big Dog Owners

Winfield, KS - Wire Plus is proud to introduce their new Big Dog Motorcycle Retrofit Kit Program. Big Dog motorcycles have been plagued with electrical problems for years that have cost riders tons of time and money….not to mention owning a bike that can’t be ridden. Wire Plus developed the Big Dog EHC Retrofit Kit as a solution to the problem that their Big Dog Motorcycle had an inevitable failing EHC. Wire Plus has now developed a new program that will save riders time and money by doing the work for you!

Save Time - It can take 8-12 hours to modify an existing Big Dog wiring harness to complete a retrofit kit install...until now! Wire Plus will do the work for you. Just take off the stock Big Dog wiring harness (usually takes 1 - 2 hours) and send it to Wire Plus so they can do all of the work for you. They will visually inspect each individual wire, eliminate the "printer style" connectors that are exclusive to Big Dog, put on new waterproof Deutsch connectors that will make the harness "plug and play" ready for the Wire Plus EHC Retrofit Kit modules.  They will give it one more thorough inspection, bench test it to ensure that it's perfect and ship it back to you. All you have to do is reinstall the newly modified Big Dog Harness (usually takes 1 - 2 hours), hook up and mount the EHC Retrofit Kit Modules and you're done! There’s no more wondering if your harness is modified correctly because Wire Plus just corrected the Big Dog's problem in a fraction of the "normal" time. The average time it takes to modify a complete harness has been reduced to zero because Wire Plus does it for you.

Save Money- The Wire Plus Big Dog EHC Retrofit Kit is not cheap to begin with and add your shop labor and your customer is looking at a pretty good sized bill. You can pass along some of the savings directly on to your customer as well as make a few extra bucks for your shop.  You can do more bikes with the new Big Dog Harness Modification Program from Wire Plus.

NAMZ position themselves for continued market leadership

NAMZ position themselves for continued market leadership

Author and motorcycle electrics specialist Jeff Zielinski "The Factory has produced some of their most advanced motorcycles to dat, and in doing so they have raised the bar for the aftermarket."

WELL known electrical products manufacturer and author Jeff Zielinski is one of the market's leading custom bike electronics specialists with a product line that is sold the world over by most leading importers and distributors.
In addition to aftermarket products for Harley-Davidson models, NAMZ also provide products and support for most OEMs and their dealers all over the world, and pride themselves with staying on top of model changes so that they can continue to provide "op notch products and service" for their customers.
Jeff recently pointed to the changes that Harley-Davidson has made to its model line-up for 2014 and the challenges that those changes represent for the aftermarket.
"The Factory has produced some of their most advanced motorcycles to date, and in doing so they have raised the bar for the aftermarket - both in terms of product design and features, as well as quality and compatibility.
"No aftermarket business can stand still at the best of times, but following what has happened to the motorcycle industry in the past five years, aftermarket vendors have to place the same priority on R&D, production and process, and new product design thinking that the motorcycle manufacturers themselves are doing.
"At NAMZ, we have added a conveyor based, heat-shrink tunnel machine that will automate our heat shrinking process along with a computer based wire harness testing machine that will eliminate any possible wiring errors.
"In order to install these machines, we have invested in more building space, taking us to over 10,000 square feet, and putting us in the position to be able to promise some big news in early 2014 that will continue to keep us and our dealers in the lead when it comes to motorcycle electrics."
